Why do I need Long Term Care?

Much like home, health, and auto insurance, long term care insurance is available to help you protect yourself, your family, and your assets when financing long term care.

Long term care insurance can pay for you or your loved ones' nursing home, assisted living, and home health care costs, which would otherwise be paid for out of pocket (by you or your spouse or children). Very little, if any, of these costs are covered through Medicare and Medicaid.
